Anyhow, as day was breaking he went out to the garden to have a look around, and to get a better view, he mounted the ditch; as he done so, he has a look round, and to his surprise saw his neighbor coming along the road, and immediately he jumped down and made for the house.
His neighbor saw him disappear off the ditch, and a Ghost and therefore terribly afraid.
He made home (the distance about 400 yds.) and went to his bed, and sometime after that, he told the same neighbor, about how he was coming home one morning and saw this woman, so he thought, standing on the ditch as he approached.
