    when it was discovered that the solistor who bought the property was acting on behalf of a Catholic community.
    Several prominent men have been educated at Castleknock College. One in particular being Lord Charles Russell of Killowen who became Lord Chief Justice of England. Also the late Archbishop Fennelly, Bishop of Cashell, whose brother the late Rev. Fr. Fennelly was P. P. in Blanchardstown from (1897 to 1930).
