    brown colour and they can be also heard croking in the water. When we imagine that the mountains are nearer to us that they really are that is another sign of bad weather. If the floods go down quickly it is a sign of more floods and also if the snow remains for along time in the shady places it is a sign of more snow. If the walls are damp this is a sign of rain and also when the insects are very plentiful. When the cat is seen scraping wood it is said to be a sign of rain. The west wind is said to bring rain.
