    visitor tells who send him. Then the girl's parents and he discuss the match.
    If the parents like the proposal the young girls opinion is asked and if she consents the matchmaker brings word to the young man who sent him to propose for him.
    Next the young man and a few friends of his-father uncle and of course the matchmaker visit the young lady's house. She knows they are coming and big supper is ready for them. There is always cold fowl or other meat for the supper. If the ban a teeh does not partake of the meat it shows that she is not favourabable to the match.
    After the supper and the few glasses of punch the match making begins in real earnest.
    The girls father tells what fortune he is willing to give her and the young man's father tells
