    opposite side, will run after it, and the long stick will be left across the two "rocks". The child who has the "cad" will throw it in the direction of the stick.
    When you are "landing the cad" and one of the children on the opposite side catches it without its ever tipping the ground, it is called a "fetch" and all the children on the opposite side will be out.
    If the "cad" hits the stick, it is out, and the next child gets what is called her "hand", If the "cad" hits the "rocks", it is called "rocks" and you have to "land the cad" again.
    Then if the "cad" does not hit either the "rocks" or the stick, it is said to be "a clearance". Then you get the long stick and hit the "cad" up in the air, and when it is coming down, you hit it off with the long stick. You hit the "cad" three times in this manner and you will say how many jumps you will give the children on the opposite side. When you are either hitting or "landing" the
