  1. It is an old custom that on St. Brighids day there is a crow made of straw and a potato on the top of it and put put over the door. When the farmer is sowing his crop of oats he shakes the oats that was put put on the cross on it to bless it.
    Nearly all people get married in shrove
    People never swim on Whit Sunday in case they would be drowned
    If anything happens to a person on Whit Monday, they say that they will die soon.
    On May day people never give away milk. They think it will be brought from them for the year.
    Never eat a berry after St.
