He went up a riding on the horse and the horse began to kick and jump and leap, and poor Jack was forced to dismount. At that time a man was coming along the highway with an old cow. Ah!, said the man with the cow, that horse will kill you. I'll give you this fine cow for him. So Jack again swapped. He was going along with the cow when he met a man with a pig in a barrow. Ah!, said the man, what do you want of that old cow. I'll give you this fine pig for her and Jack swapped again.
    He was going along again with the pig when he me a man with a goose. Oh! said the man with the goose, that is the pig that was stolen from the minister and if he is caught with you, you will get six months. I'll give you this goose for him. Poor Jack was shaking in his shoes and he gave the pig for the goose.
    He was going along with the goose and he came to a man who was sharpening razors and Jack went into him. If I had a sharpening stone like
