  1. A person who has a father and mother of the same name puts a halter on the person suffering from the mumps and brings her to a river. The person having the mumps take a drink out of the water and says "In the name of the Father." (and of the Son and) then she goes away and comes back again and takes another drop and says "And of the Son." She goes away a third time comes back again takes another drop and says "And of the Holy Ghost. Amen."
