  1. Local Songs.
    Tottenham's Fair.
You nine of Parnassus assist these few verses
I mean to rehearse, sure I'll not keep you long
You nobles and peasants of every gradation
Through Erin's green nation give ear to my song
You sportsmen and dealers and whiskey retailers
Draw near without fail, while the truth I declare
No place congregated for pastime can equal
To sweet Kiltyclogher great Tottenham's Fair.
In British chronology view his extraction
Descendants of honour of fame and renown
A head to his tenants and head to no faction
There's few of such gentlemen now to befound.
New monthly horse races he has propagated
For prizes unequal in Maze or Kildare
Like ancient Olympian games are contended
In famed Kiltyclogher great Tottenham's Fair.
You absentee Lords all abroad at your pleasures
Whose agents like leeches are sucking their veins
With bills of reform great good to the people
The slaves of Jamaica you next must enchain
Come home I advise you the slaves are behind you
