  1. Pat from Donegal.
We're tired listening to the songs of coons in desert isles
About ladies with their short cuts, meek ways and winning smiles.
But now I'll sing another you never heard at all,
About a rattling Irishman, Pat from Donegal.
Pat he is a noble sport as he drives along his van
You couldn't pick the beat of him, from Eire to Japan
He's always welcomed wherever he goes; he's admired by all
For he's the jolliest and best hearted soul in dear old Donegal.
When a football match is on, his cleverness you see
He is called by all the boys to be their referee
He's never one sided, he gives fair play to all,
For he's honourable and decent, Pat from Donegal.
