    harvest time. It grows to a height of about twelve to fourteen inches. When it is plucked the tops should be boiled in milk, then strained and the juice taken. Garlic boiled in milk and the juice taken is supposed to cure pains in the kidney. If it is boiled in the water and given to horses it is supposed to cure pains.
    If a person got a cut and found it hard to stop the blood the sticky stuff at the bottom of a dock leaf would stop the bleeding.
    If a child had the chin cough a hedgehog boiled and the soup taken is supposed to cute it.
    Another cure is to stop it is to eat a raw turnip on which sugar is shaken.
    If a person had a head ache the plant which grows on the gables of houses is supposed to cure it.
    If a person had a sore foot and to get the leaves off a plant called buacallán buide and to boil it and to wash the cut
