    eight houses in my village at present. There were thirty in it long ago. All these houses were thatched, and were very small.
    "Stephens" is the most common surname in my village. There are two old people over seventy in my village. These are not able to tell stores in Irish.
    There is good land in my district. No part of it is wooded. There are not any lakes in my district. There is only one river flowing through the village. This river is a tributary of the shivna.
