    in Winter. In a large farm house where they keep many milk cows they churn every second day.
    The old people had many superstitious ways. If any person comes in while they are churning he had to help. Neither would they allow water to be thrown out. In these days most people do not believe in these old sayings. Some cream churns, in ten minutes 'whilst' other creams take twenty minutes or more. It all depends on the milch cows. Some cows are much better than others for butter.
