After Ballinamuck a pikeman was in hiding ...

After Ballinamuck a pikeman was in hiding with the Llyods of Annaghmore. He was captured and brought to Cloone where he was to be executed. Ben Llyod was in Longford when this happened and when he returned home his wife told him. He started for Cloone without dismounting from his horse, and, using his influence to good effect, he had the prisoner home with him.
