    Martin which was the miller's name, ran after them, with a bucket of flour, and when he was just crossing the fence, he tore all his chest with a briar. The old man picked a little buttercup, and rubbed it to Martin's chest, and it got better. He told him to put his hat under the table and when he would get up in the morning, something good would be there. When Martin got up in the morning, a sow, with a fine litter of bonhams, was there. Some time later, Martin met the old man again, and told him about the great thing that had happened. The man again told him, to put his hat under the table, and when he awoke in the morning, he was glad to find a lovely grey sheep-dog with seven pups under the table.
