    An old travelling woman called into a house between Tarbert and Tralee one day. Here, a child, of whom the doctors had given all hope, lay dying. The travelling woman told the mother of the dying child to go out at midnight to pick sorrel, and never once to look back when picking it. The mother did so, boiled the sorrel in milk, and gave the drink to the child. From that on the child was getting better.
