- All the people sit round on chairs in a ring while playing this game. They put their two feet out and one person is chosen to take the rod and go aroun on everybody's feet saying a rhyme. Whatever foot is the last word of the rhyme falls on that foot is drawn in and the rhyme started again until all the feet are drawn in but one and then the last foot gets a slap of the rod or maybe that person gets a slap on the hand. This is the rhyme that goes with the game:-
Lurabog, learabog limbear lough,
Five miles to seven o'clock,
I sat I sung to tail I sprung,
Out comes Dod with his long rod,
And chased them all from rig to rag,
Ish! Thish! Thief!- Collector
