  1. One night at eleven o'clock, about thirty five years ago, three men were coming home from Ballyheigue village and as they approached the entrance to the graveyard one of them saw a parcel on the road. he picked it up and found it contained a wig of hair about two feet long.
It seems it was bound with something like elastic and he placed it on his head and the hair fell down his back and across his shoulders. He parcelled the hair again and placed it in his pocket.
He visited a few houses on his way to the house where he was employed and on each occasion the cock crew.
