  1. Long ago, there was a thief. The police were chasing him, trying to catch him.
    One day the thief was on the road, between John Daly's Kulm of Dán an Gleanna and the glens. He saw that the police had him surrounded. He had a crock of gold in his possession, and rather than give the police the satisfaction of getting the crock of gold, he hid it under a whitchom tree between earth and bog.
