the height of coaxing she told her. Then she told her daughter she should go to school the next morning and if she met the old lady to ask her what would cure a sick cow. She told her there was a herb growing behind her house to pick it and boil it and give the juice to the cow to drink. The girl went home and told her mother. The mother plucked the herb and boiled it and gave the juice to the little girl instead of the cow and from that day onwards the old woman had no power over the little girl.
