A great weight thrower from Castlemaine was a man by the name of Flynn. Once a small fat man was drinking at a bar. He said he could throw the half hundred weight one hundred feet. The champion weight thrower of that place was listening to him and said it was impossible. They put down a bet. The small man got the weight and went to a well. It was one hundred feet deep. The man left the weight drop in and won the bet.
