   Béal-oideas Cairbre There is a fairy and a man without a head seen at a place called Drummond. At the Piper's Bush on the bank of the Grand Canal a man is seen playing his pipes. A banshee was seen under the Shee Bridge sometimes called Skeough Bridge. The Banshee follows families of the name of Dunne (the men only) The mark of St. Bridgets foot is seen on a stone at Ticknevin (Tig Cnaomín) the house of bones where there was a Churchyard long ago. It is said that an ass on which St. Brigid was seated jumped from the Hill of Allen to Ticknevin and the mark of the asses hoof is seen on a rock, in the hollow of which water collects which can cure warts.
