    Another time Colley was working for the Priest. When he had the piece of work done, the priest asked him how much it was. Colley said "Ten shillings". "oh", said the priest, "That is too much, if I had a piece of wood and a saw I would be able to do it". "If I had a collar", said Colley. "I would be able to say Mass.
    One time he was standing at the monument, in the square, a motor-car came up and stopped. A man stepped out of the car, came over and read what was on the monument. Then he turned to Colley and said. "How often do you feed that dog?" "As often as he barks", replied Colley
