  1. TOBERARA WELL, MILLTOWN BRIDGE
    About two miles to the north of Athy on the banks of the Barrow is a well known as Toberara Well. Up to seventy years ago the people held a pattern fair in a place called Toberara. In the same place there is a graveyard with no gate. There is also a well with a bush growing over it near the Barrow. The water runs into the Barrow. There is a good cure in the well the people who were sick
