  1. All over Ireland there are many places of interest to the Archaeologist. At Barnhill there is situated on Mr. Corcoran's land a large Rath. Coming to Prumplestown on Mr. Wrights land there is the remains of a graveyard. St. Michael's monastery was supposed to be beside the graveyard.
    A short distance further we come to Ballaghmoon, here four Kings of Ireland fought.
    King Cormac was slain, part of his body is interred in Castledermot.
    The four Kings met in a field called Capper's Hill, to this day the clay of the field is supposed to be red with blood of the men who fought there.
