    On the night of the big wind a man was going to America. He was biding good-bye to all his relations. On his way home from his relations house he heard a poor woman shouting for someone to keep the roof from blowing off. She had no ladder but the man got a rope and put it across the house. He got up on the roof and fixed it for the old woman. When he came down the two knees were out of his trousers. This showed his charity and kindness
