  1. There is a well in Nursetown. Dromahane. Mallow. It is supposed by the older people to be a holy well - St. Joseph’s Well.
    A man got a stab of a hay-pike in the leg, but was cured at the well.

    Another well is situated at Scarra, Glantane, Mallow called Tobar Caoch. The waters are supposed to cure blindness.
    Close to Nazareth Home formerly Newberry Manor is a well in the grounds still, and ever called Tobar Áine.
    One on the grounds of Danesfort, Dromahane is called Tobar Bán.
