  2. The Corncrake is a land bird and she is also a Migrant. She builds her nest in a meadow. She never flies much except when she has to go to other countries in the Winter. We can hardly see her in the tall grass but we can hear her singing. She is a brown bird and has very strong legs. She comes to Ireland in the month of April and sings every night and day. She is bigger than the blackbird.
