  1. I think that St Sourney is the most well known of our Irish Saints in this parish. This holy woman lived in a lonely cell in the place where the Drumacoo cemetary is now.
    The ruins of the little house are still to be seen there also some of the turf which she used to make her fire with. There is a little well also near her house and several people have been cured by it. This saint was very poor yet she
