    2024 many of these, have secured holdings or new additions of land on the plains from which their ancestors were compelled to leave.
    Today the greatest change of all is to be seen on this estate, the "Big House", and what remained of the demense, has passed into the hands of a community of nuns. They use the house as a novitate for their order. St. John of Gods.
    A protestant hoousehold has thus became a Catholic Convent - one of the great changes in a historic period.
