“In olden times there were only two graveyards in this parish.”
In olden times there were only two graveyards in this parish. One of them in Dysart and the other in Frosses. Colmcille blessed the Dysart graveyard. There is a well to be found beside the graveyard also and if one would lift the water right and say the prayers right it would put away any rats from about the house. One has to take a small lock of clay with them also. There is no chapel near this graveyard but there are plenty of trees round it. There is not a spot in this graveyard now to bury any one in because it is all graves and in some of them there are two people buried. The graveyard that is in Frosses there is no chapel near it. The hall lies beside it. - Collector
