- There are remains of an Abbey in the Protestant graveyard attached to Dunfanaghy.
A group of monks lived here in days long past. Another group lived in a monastery, the remains of which are visible from the road that leads from Dunfanaghy to Falcarragh. All that remains in either place are ivy hung walls. The walls were built with mortar and the arches are in the gothic style
