A cow-house is built of stone and cement. There are divisions between every cow, and poles sunk into the ground with chains around the poles to keep the cows in their own places. Some byries have tin roofs and others have wooden ones with felt on top of it. Some cow-houses have windows others have none, and have only little holes in the walls for ventilation.
