When it came back there were no men in it. The six were drowned and the crew also were drowned. That happened of the 2nd of February 1843 and there is a memorial in the graveyard for these brave men. The name of the boat is the "Sarah Runcorn." A Loughshinny boat one day, went out to pull in lines at the Rock. They were at the lines when a warship appeared and blew it to bits. The bodies of these men were never found.
