   have to-day an abbey instead of an ruined aspect, but seemly she could not surpress her curiosity.
   This old ruined abbey has been the theme of song and story ever since.
   Now the gate of this abby is a "leach"[?] or headstones without any inscription but bearing on its face an ancient Irish cross. The existence of this stone cut probably over a thousand years is sufficient evidences of the antiquity of this graveyard. It is also told that St. Mogue himself was buried in this graveyard. During the time which St Mogue and his monk companions lived in this abbey. It was the greatest of our schools in the past up till those turbulent and lawless years when all those educated and holy men had to make
