This weed does an amount of harm to the land in as much as that it soaks away the best soil of the land within a radius of three feet causing poor grass to grow there.Switchgrass and Chickenweed spread alike on the land lying low on the surface taking root at a space of a foot according as it grows ; those weeds generally spread for a distance of a few hundred feet in one year ; if left to grow the second year they spread along a field(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
