  1. Clough Na Cudda
    Long ago Innisfallen Island was joined to the main-land. In Innisfallen Abbey there was a brother named Brother Cudda. The Abbey was founded by Brother Finian. One day Brother Cudda was walking from the Abbey to Mahony's Point. He heard a robin singing beatifully and he walked after it listening to its song. After a while he got tired and he knelt down to pray. In the evening as he thought he returned to the Abbey. everything seemed very strange, even the Abbey itself was changed. The door was opened by a strange brother. Brother Cudda asked for Brother Finian. The brother said there was no brother of that name in the Abbey. He said that there had been a Brother Finian who founded the Abbey and he died about two hundred years ago. Then Brother Cudda knew it was not a day he was away.
