  1. (continued from previous page)
There was a field sloping down
from his house & he would tell
prisoners to run off but when
they would be getting away the
yeomen used to fire on them for
    target practice.
    Antrim John
A rebel named Antrim John &
Antony Hackett got down in a well from
the soldiers one day & when Hackett
saw the soldiers coming he gave his
ammunition to Antrim John & got
    away. Antrim kept the soldiers
off for hours & they never rushed
in on him till he shot
soldier in the thigh with a brass
button & they knew his ammunition
    was out. The brass nearly
    rotted off the soldiers leg.
