    This is a good long sthory that I'm goin' ta tell ye now. There war four young lads livin down near Geevagh.

    This is a good long sthory that I'm goin' ta tell ye now.
    There war four young lads livin down near Geevagh.
    The three o' them ushed ta always go together, ramblin'
    an' sportin' an' playin' cards, an' all the resht, an' they
    ushed ta always come home at a reasnoble hour o' the
    night.
    Well this night however, they had a particularly excitin'
    game o' cards in some neighbour's house, an' it was between
    twelve, an' wan o' clock, before they war on their way
    home.
    Comin' along on alonely part o' the road what should they
    meet, at that sthrange hour o' the night, but a funeral.
    "Well" sez wan o' them "is long is we ran, we're caught
    at lasht! However they said as it was afuneral, they turn
    back an' walk four stheps or so wit it, is that was always
