   With Religious fervour, Patriotism, and Sime _ starvation on the Catholic side _ whilst Bigotry, Love of Power, and Lack of Humane Sympathy on the Government and Protestant side, each side full of bitterness against the other _ Trouble was bound to come between the Opressor and the Opressed.
   The Result _ Catholics were determined to break the shackles that bound them to their Opressors, and joined the Fenians
