- An Inquest was held on the remains of the murdered man. A Jury sworn, The Foreman on the Jury, Lanty C. made known the verdict of the Jury _
"It is the verdict of the Jury that, Y _ Magistrate, was found shot, murdered by some person or persons unknown."
Now it happened that Lanty -C_ was himself a Fenian, Foreman on the Jury, and was actually present at the meeting at which lots were cast as to who would do the shooting.
