  1. Along the plains of Galuray where I wandered blithe and [?]. The summer smiles with gladness but smileth not on me. Yet high o'er land and ocean far comes a dear known voice with glee.
    Tis an echo from my native land, Come home! Come home to me. The lovely seemes of mount and glen I've deeked for you to see, But all must fade to wither soon, Then come home! Come home to me!
    Along the hills of Alla that oer look the Shires of Rome.
