   To both, as saints in bliss, we humbly pray, Their lives we emulate, and we bless their day.
   Sweet ladies, pursue us with your gentle eyes, And each tear that drops a trophy we shall prize;
   And you, gentlemen, who mayhap impatient of delays,
   Refuse us not a flowing mead of praise, If to your judgement, as I trust, it seem That we do honour to our noble theme.
