    There was a man living up in Barnagh wan time, his name was Tom Monaghan.

    "are a happy man," says she, "and happy is the hour you were born," and then she disappeared. That was all she said to him. I suppose she was not at rest, and she was coming there for years, and, I suppose, when he told her to go to heaven, she did go. I don’t know, sure, but that was what she said to him anyhow. Tom wasn’t a bit the worse anyhow. He used to go off every night after that as usual.
