ChurningWe have a churn at home and it is three years old. When it was bought it (?) a pound. It is two feet in height and it is eighteen inches wide at the bottom and fourteen at the top. The different parts are called the dash and the lid and the caisín.
There is a mark on the top of the churn and the side of the lid in order to fit the churn right. The butter is generally made twice a week in summer and once a week in winter. When the(continues on next page)- Collector
