- A noggin is a household utensil which the old people used to drink out of. It was made with wood and the skin of a tree on the out side of it. The people that used to make them were called coopers. There used to be one or more in every house long ago.
The people used to eat, and drink out of them. They used to have no delf at all like now everything was made with wood. Noggins are not very plentiful now.
