- The old people used to make a light by feeling the green skin off of a rush. The next thing they used to do was to get tallow and melt it. Then they used to get a múnla and place the peeled rush in the middle of the múnla. They used to pour the melted tallow into the múnla. After a while the tallow used to get hard. Then they used to light the candle at night.
