  2. A coal is taken from bonfire and thrown into the potato field.

    It is right to have a bone in the fire.

    Old people walk around the bonfire three times. We cannot remember whether tuaitheall or deiseal.

    Rosary is said and the people who are giving the responses throw a pebble into the fire for every Hail Mary.
