    up, the dykes are ploughed again. Then the stalks are moulded. Soon after they are sprayed three times. If the stalks were not sprayed the blight would destroy the crop.
    In Autumn the potatoes are dug with a spade and a hole is made in the ground. The potatoes are separated, the big potatoes are put in a hole for themselves and the small potatoes are put in another hole. Then the holes are covered with clay.
    The names of the different kinds of potatoes are Aran Banners, Queens, Champions and Epicures.
