    Two octogenarians and a septuagenerian live in the townland. Only one can speak Irish fluently.
    The borders of Cloonbuliban are Threenreavough, to the north, Belisker to the east, Cloonlara to the south and a big bog called Doire to the west.
    The townland is well known for its forge which has been kept going for over a century by the same family. People for two miles around come to the forge.
    The land around is undulating and Cloonbuliban is built on a ridge. The land is well drained by small tributaires of the Robe which are all around the
